The solid fuel boiler provided central heating to the principal rooms and hot water for the washing facilities. The heating system was not used as the radio equipment emitted sufficient warmth. The wall mounted air pumps circulated air around the Signals H.Q. The filters gave protection in the event of gas attack. |
