| This is the largest room in the Signals H.Q., three Naval Enigma enciphering machines were used and other benches carried a range of short and long wave transceivers and associated equipment. Two openings through the walls allowed messages to be passed to the adjoining transmitter and Signals Officer rooms. Ceramic lined holes high up the walls carried the cables to the antennae ditches outside the bunker. | ||||||
